Trauma & Anxiety Resource to Share

Hello Friends,

Hopefully you have had the opportunity to take a deep breath and build in time for some intentional rest and fun.  You deserve it!

As we reflect on conversations from this year,  many educators shared that they have noticed an increased level of anxiety in their students of all ages.

Is this something you are also seeing in your schools?

In an effort to support teachers as they respond to the needs of their students, Dr. Sherryse Corrow, Professor of Neuroscience and Northshore Learning consultant, gave a webinar to a partner school explaining the neuroscience of anxiety.

She includes proactive and responsive strategies that can be incorporated into the classroom to support students experiencing anxiety.

As a gift to you, we’d like to share the webinar, When Trauma Meets the Classroom: Practical Implications for Working with Anxious Students.

Our hope is that it gives you some insight and tools to provide a safe environment where all students can thrive.

Thanks for all you do for children and have a beautiful summer.
