Meet the Team

The Northshore team is a group of professionals that share a passion for helping school leaders enable their teachers to thrive.

Jessica Werner, Ph.D., is the founder and CEO of Northshore Learning. She has worked with schools worldwide as an instructor, a professor of education and classroom management, and as a consultant. She is passionate about helping to equip educators to work with students with varying academic and behavioral needs. Dr. Werner specializes in behavior support, including social and emotional learning, student regulation and self-management, wholistic approaches to student behavior and communication for students in both the general classroom and also students with additional learning needs.

Colleen Santonihas over 25 years experience in education and experiential learning.  She has served as a teacher and administrator in elementary and middle schools.  Most recently, she served as an Assistant Principal at St. Patrick in Dallas, TX. Colleen has a BA from the University of Notre Dame, a Masters in the Art of Teaching from the University of Portland, and a certificate in Catholic School leadership from Creighton University. She lives in Richardson, Texas with her husband and high school son and has two sons in college.

Allie Storti has played many instrumental roles in E-12 education in districts across Minnesota. She has served as an elementary principal, district administrator coordinating ELL programs and Early Childhood, instructional coach and teacher. Allie holds an Ed.S. in Educational Administration, Masters in Curriculum and Instruction and a teaching degree. She is an active participant in the Center For Early Leadership through Harvard University. 

Collin Katainenhas over a decade of instruction and administrative experiences as a public, charter and private school educator. He is currently the Director of General Studies at Minnesota’s only private boarding high school in the state. Collin has extensive knowledge and training from Augsburg University’s Paideia Institute and holds an Education Specialist, Ed.S. degree in Educational Leadership. He is an accomplished professional with diverse experience in education, outstanding leadership abilities, expert communication skills, managing and assessing teacher progress and experience advising and advocating for diverse populations.

Sherryese Corrow, Ph.D., is a professor of psychology and neuroscience at Bethel University in St. Paul, Minnesota.  She completed her Ph.D. at the University of Minnesota in Child Psychology (2013) with an emphasis in cognitive neuroscience. After the completion of her Ph.D., she completed an NIH postdoctoral fellowship in neuroscience (2017) at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. In addition to her research in neuro-cognition, Dr. Corrow is passionate about the science of learning and pedagogy and serves on the faculty development team at Bethel University.

Matt Reichert has been an administrator, board member, middle and high school teacher, and undergraduate professor. He is a frequent workshop leader and has presented at parishes, dioceses, and conferences across the country. Matt holds his BA in History and English from Saint John’s University in Collegeville, Minnesota, and two Masters degrees from the University of Notre Dame in Education and Leadership. In addition to teaching and consulting, he is an avid reader, gardener, beekeeper, and woodworker. Matt lives in Richmond, Minnesota, with his wife and four daughters.

Karrie Sadler was a classroom teacher for 20 years before beginning her work as an educational consultant. Karrie has an extensive background in literacy and earned a Sixth Year Degree as a K-12 Remedial Reading and Language Arts Consultant. She has worked as a Special Education Inclusion Coach in New York City and Westchester County, NY. Karrie has collaborated with teachers, teams, schools, and districts to develop standards-based curricular documents and to support the planning and implementation of targeted, impactful and differentiated instruction across subject areas.

Dr. Wyayn Rasmussen is an Executive and Instructional Coach who works with leaders and teachers to build their capacity to increase student achievement while maintaining their personal wellbeing. Wyayn was the Executive Director for Franklin Center in Minneapolis, a nationally recognized Center of Excellence for neurodiverse children, young adults and their families, for over ten years. She is an award winning instructor, specializing in working with children and young adults with neurodiversities. 

Nader Abouzenina has worked in international schools worldwide, serving as a teacher, professional development specialist, and International Accreditation Officer. Nader's passion lies in leveraging the power of technology, specifically Artificial Intelligence, to enhance the education experience for both teachers and students. Through his research-based strategies, Nader has helped many educators implement AI in their classrooms with great success. He stays current with the latest advancements in education technology and regularly attends conferences and workshops to expand his expertise. He currently teaches in Melbourne, Australia.

Dr. Katie Clarke has served in several educational leadership capacities, including coordinator of curriculum and instruction, elementary principal, and district administrator. She has worked closely with MLL (Multi-lingual learner) programs, school improvement, and teacher coaching. Dr. Clarke holds certifications in cognitive and instructional coaching. She has worked in out-of-school time programs and conducted research and training focused on experiential learning. Dr. Clarke is an adjunct university faculty member, teaching both undergraduate and graduate education courses. Dr. Clarke is also a graduate of the Minnesota Aspiring Superintendent’s Academy.

Dr. Kelly Pew served in South Carolina's public schools for 29 years. She began her career as a high school English teacher before becoming a school and district level administrator. Dr. Pew has been a middle/high school assistant principal and principal. She has also served as an Assistant Superintendent in Human Resources, Instruction, and Administration before serving as Superintendent in two South Carolina School Districts. In addition to working as a consultant, Dr. Pew currently serves as an instructor at Clemson University and Southern Wesleyan University. Dr. Pew's passion is to work with teachers and school leaders to support their individual educational needs as they develop and educate today's students.

Greta Schramm has been an elementary teacher in Minnesota for over 30 years. She holds a Master’s Degree in education with an emphasis in gifted and talented. She has taught nearly every grade 1-6 and currently specializes in Social Emotional Learning/Wellness. Passionate about creatively giving access to the 5 competencies of SEL, created by CASEL, she helps students and educational professionals alike to navigate this new complex landscape in the world of education. She adores spending time with her husband and 3 (almost) adult children who are living in California.
