Happy back-to-school!
Many have started, others are starting – we wish you all an incredible school year!
Here is a fun way to get started. You can use this activity for yourself, or with your students (grades 2+)
It is a great way to prime our brains for how we want this school year to go.
We call it the Yearbook Activity.
Here are some examples from high school teachers at Totino Grace High School in Fridley, Minnesota.
You could also have this activity be for parents.
Ask them - what do you want to be telling yourself at the end of this school year about how things went for your child?
It could be a fun way to loop in parents early in the school year.
Also, we are excited to share with you a new offering.
All of our school partners have noticed an increase in the neurodiversity of our students. (Some have been formally diagnosed, many have not)
Do you feel like your staff could use more training in serving this population of learners?
We are offering a new webinar series that can be scheduled at the convenience of your school.
Lauren Jones is a new member of our consultant team and has many years of working in school leadership and special education.
We know you will enjoy learning from her!
If you have any questions.
We look forward to supporting you and your staff during this new school year!
